Dr. Mestry is an amazing diagnostician as well as a great dermatologist overall. I would highly recommend consulting her if you are struggling with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) or related disorders, and looking for someone who can provide you with a personalized treatment plan rather than textbook drug regimens. She is empathetic and respectful, really cares about your well-being, and does not talk down to patients which is often rare to find amongst providers. She will also listen to you and take your history/background into account before prescribing treatment - very important if you have a chronic illness and already know what works for you vs not. We definitely need more physicians like her who are not bound by traditional treatment plans, but instead work with you to understand your individual situation and deliver personalized medical care.
